BALLOT PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS
GEAUGA COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS

All ballots shall be printed within the State of Ohio in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections
3505.08 and 3505.13.
Quote shall list the actual Ohio printer who will be printing the ballots.
All pricing shall be FOB Chardon, Ohio.
Printer is required to use Election Systems & Software, Inc. (ES&S) sequenced or generic code stock for printing purposes.
Ballots shall be printed in accordance with specifications for printing as set forth in Ohio Revised Code Section 3505.08.
Election Day ballots shall be delivered to the Board of Elections office on or prior to Friday, April7, 2017.
Each ES&S style ballot shall be a 14", single page ballot and shall have attached one (1) stub the width of
the ballot located on the bottom and each shall be numbered and perforated, per Ohio Revised Code
All ballots shall be bound and shrink-wrapped by precinct jurisdictions with covers per Ohio Revised
Code Section 3505.11.
Total precincts - 78 (plus overlaps)
Number of ballots- 75,000 (approximately)
Ballot proofs sent within one (1) week of receipt of ballot copy.
Ballot cost should be based on per ballot charge for actual number of ballots printed.
The Geauga County Board of Elections will send all required pdf files (Provisional and Election Day ballots) directly to the actual Ohio printer via email.
Printer shall print all ballots from a pdf file received from the Geauga County Board of Elections.
Printer shall use heavily gummed edges and place numbers as high as possible on stub.
